The AQFS120 is a point of entry system (full house) specifically designed for the reduction of chlorine, sediment, iron and lime scale accumulation on pipes, fixtures and appliances. Our systems do not demineralize your water and do not introduce salt into your water. Instead, we utilize a natural, scale reduction media that prevents hard water minerals from creating scale, removes existing buildup and prevents corrosion caused by chlorides, silica and iron. Our high-pressure housing utilizes our 5 micron, 10” coconut carbon block filter which includes a proprietary scale reduction media designed to prevent and reduce harmful scale build up on heating elements, pipes, faucets and other plumbing fixtures and appliances. Our coconut carbon provides exceptional chlorine removal with high flow rates. This wall mounted unit is designed to be installed at the water main entry point and will provide a flow rate of up to 8 gallons per minute (GPM). The standard inlet and outlet connections are 3/4” NPT and has a design pressure of 125 PSI (5.9 bar) with a maximum operating temperature of 113°F (45°C).The system is designed for smaller homes, condos and recreational vehicles. Our Ceramic Under Sink Water Filter is dependable and built to last for years and effectively removes harmful bacteria, sediment, and many other contaminants from water. Water travels through a ceramic cartridge and effectively removes harmful bacteria such as E. coli, Fecal coliform, Salmonella, Streptococcus, cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia), and sediment. This is a terrific little system! I am a tea drinker and my husband let it slip that the UK has hot water on demand in many places... I asked if we could and lo and behold! Installation was easy*, although we didn't use the supplied filter as we have it going through a filter system already. The temperature isn't exact, so we did have to mess with the dial a little. It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely.. The WGB21B is a great "point of entry" filtration system and an excellent alternative to the larger WGB22B for smaller homes. The WGB21B will filter water directly from your source. This means that water from every outlet will have passed through this filter, providing up to 50,000 Gal. of clean water for the entire family. The first stage of this system houses a 5-micron high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter (FP15B). This filter is responsible for removing dirt, rust, and most suspended solids, to protect the CTO carbon block filter. The second stage houses the 5-micron CTO coconut shell carbon block filter (FC15B). Block carbon is more effective than other forms of carbon in that it is finely ground up carbon packed into a solidified block. This means they have a higher density than other types of carbon filters and are therefore more effective in removing their targeted contaminants. The carbon block filter knocks out bad tastes and odors, removes over 90% of sediment and chlorine, and is highly effective on chemicals, like pesticides, herbicides, and industrial chemicals.
