Was disappointed as didn’t realise I had to put it together and at 73yrs old it was a struggle

I have to admit it looks quite good once assembled but the effort required to reach this point makes one wonder if it was worth it. Firstly each of the 24 metal plates arrived covered with a plastic film which has to be peeled off by hand. This was not easy and took two of us about 2 hours. A pair of gloves is included as the (inadequate) instructions warn of sharp edges. This warning was well founded but I personally found it impossible to fix the small nuts and bolts which hold the bed together while wearing gloves! Consequently my hands and forearms were cut and nicked several times. Blood had to be wiped off the metal plates. Some of the nuts went right through the holes requiring us to search for washers to hold them in place. Actually fitting the bed together took enormous effort from two of us (it is impossible to do alone) and most of a day. Quite frankly I wish I hadn’t bought it. It’s also quite flimsy.

Poor Cutomer Support and Issue Resolution

Had i realised this was self assembly i wouldn't have bought it. I didn't even consider that garden planters would be or i'd have checked the wording. Whatsmore, this isn't sturdy, i cannot see how this will be suitable for anything more than very light bedding plants, what i had wanted to do with it was plant up ferns. Plus, it has NO base, it's just an outer shell - sides only.

Looks really nice but I think I was expecting something a but more robust for the price. Also it was missing one of the support pieces for inside.

Perfect for a raised feature, watch the sharp edges when putting together. Handy they provide gloves!

I purchased the large planter and was absolutely disgusted with the quality of it. I’m sorry I started assembling it, it should have been returned straight away. This planter is nowhere near sturdy enough to do the job it’s meant for, maybe the small ones would do better, but for the price of this at around £280, it’s rubbish and way too much money to have wasted. I got rid of it at a recycling centre,. I gave it 1 star because I couldn’t leave a review without choosing one but I wouldn’t give any stars.
