I love this tree! I was able to put it up myself…but definitely recommend having assistance to put up the top piece. It took me a couple of hours to fluff it because I am short, so I needed to use a step ladder to get to the top. Putting the lights on was also a challenge. I think this was about 3 strands of lights. I started at the top and worked around. I love that you can see the ornaments inside the tree. I want to return this tree. First, the stand isn’t sturdy enough to hold the tree upright securely. The individual branches are very thin and sparse. They will not hold an ornament without bending way down. I could not find the connections for the lights in the tree, so I couldn’t even check to see if they all work. Love this tree. Very heavy so my husband modified or added to how to hang the tree. It can be permanent or taken down. I searched for this tree before deciding on Wayfair. They were the cheapest and tallest tree available. Others had smaller trees for way more money. The tree is very full and lush so putting on wall instead of corner like I did would be easier because then all the branches could open up fully. Great after my handy husband fixed the weird gap with a pipe cutter and hacksaw. I have been hanging a Christmas tree upside-down from the ceiling for 20 years. This was the first tree made to be hung upside down. Three years later, we still love it and we have minimal needle loss with each use.
