Ceiling Fan Wall Controls

I recent purchase 2 wall controllers and 2 universal receivers. Having installed the first one, I paired it, tested and it seemed to work as expected....for about 10 minutes. Then it started to play up. The light switch would turn the fan on, the dimming function flashed the lights then stopped working, A few minutes later the fan switch and up/down button worked on & off but then too stopped working totally. I replace batteries in the wall controller but to no avail. Nothing worked at all. I can't tell if the fault is the wall controller (from Hunter), or the receiver. But I strongly suspect the receiver. I gave up, highly frustrated and disappointed. Will be returning all item. These really are poor quality. Oh, did I mention the wall controller batteries are replaced by removing the wall controller from the wall....what a ridiculous design.

I bought an Apex II, and after 24 months, the fan started to work for 5-10 minutes and turned off by itself. After research was founded that the problem in the receiver. The warranty doesn't apply because this is only for a year.

This is now my third replacement of these awful remote receivers. And it's a two story stairwell. The first ones were replaced under warranty, but never again. Even if they gave me the unit for free i wouldn't put it up again. Total garbage. And no Hunter, I don't want to contact you to troubleshoot it further.

Did not work right out of the box, poor quality followed up by poor customer service

Difficulty w remote. Doesn’t work. Two calls CS and still doesn’t work.
