Perfect for what I was looking for. It's for my vanity up at my lake house and I loved this stool because it has a dark wood bottom and it will go perfectly with the flooring in my room. I took pics of it in my daughter's room with her vanity for now, but seriously so excited to get it up there. It's the perfect size for siting and doing my hair, I don't feel like I will slide off and I love that it swivels. This item I give a three because it does not allow me to change the height of the seat while sitting on it I have to not be sitting on it for me to change the height of the seat, which I totally don’t have a problem with, but I certainly wish that I could’ve changed the hide the seat while I’m sitting on it. The chair is terrific. It is the perfect height for a makeup table, is sturdy and pretty. The assembly was a challenge without the right tool. Once we found the 7/16 wrench to hold the bottom nut so the top screw could be tightened, it was a cinch. I highly recommend that Wayfair send the proper tool to make it easier to assemble or customers can buy the 4 inch long 7/16 wrench and save your money for professional assembly. This is a nice quality chair. We are using it for a vanity chair - my only complaint is that it doesn’t have wheels on the bottom and it is fairly heavy so it’s hard to move it back and forth as the bottom base is solid and heavy. It does swivel which is nice and I like the storage.. Jennifer. Gainesville, VA. Mon Aug 10 2026
