Truly a beautiful, comfy couch. We have had it for a little over a year now and love it. It’s very cushy and has great depth. It’s also super easy to clean—most spills/dirt can be wiped with a wet paper towel without a sign of it if you are quick enough. We use hand held carpet cleaner for the more difficult ones, and it comes out easily with that. The fabric is starting to pill, but that’s expected and really my only complaint. Update 3 years in--still beautiful. Got lazy and put the cushion covers in the washer/dryer on low heat instead of using the carpet cleaner, and they came out completely fine & look brand new! A beautiful, well made sofa. The fabric is luxurious and soft to the touch. The stitching and construction details are on par with much more expensive furniture. It is not so clear from the photos and description but the moveable “armrests” actually are the arm and back rests. Adjusting one side back, the sofa can transform effectively into a sectional with a “chaise lounge” configuration, or into a bed if you put back both sides, all without changing its’ footprint. With the armrests in the forward position the sofa is extremely comfortable with very comfortable seat depth. The change is very easy to do. The cushion is on the firm side, but very comfortable. Although this sofa was a little pricey for an online purchase, it is replacing an extremely expensive high end brand name sofa I bought that was more than 4 times the price.
