UPDATE 7 months later the fabric is not standing up well. It pills very easily and the back cushions are losing their shape - even though we rotate them. ___ This sofa is a great option if you’re looking for something slightly elevated on a budget. The slipcovers fit really well - my one complaint (hence the 4 stars) is that there is some drooping along the front panel of the slipcover. The fabric is lovely. It was really simple to assemble - it took 2 of us about 20 minutes. And there is a center support leg for additional sturdiness. This Cognac faux leather sofa from Wayfair is absolutely gorgeous, but assembling it was a whole thing. Even with two of us working on it, connecting some of the pieces felt impossible. And don’t even get me started on the pillows—after they expanded out of the shrink-wrap, squeezing them into those covers was like a full contact sport. I genuinely thought we were going to tear them. That said, now that it’s all together, it’s super sturdy and the color is just chef’s kiss. I like it, don’t love it. The slip cover is my favorite - it’s a thick linen and soft and really exceeded expectations there. It was really easy to put together. It’s not super, super comfortable like it’s pretty firm and the base has springs in it so it’s kind of hard and bouncy almost. The pillows are fine - way too big for the pillow covers that come with it but they technically fit. Id consider replacing the inserts. Overall, it’s fine.
