It’s really pretty looking dining set. The chairs came first and well packed then the table arrived 3 days later. It’s easy to assemble. I like the idea that I don’t have to take out the leaf extension , just fold and it goes underneath the table. I had a little problem when i opened the box (table) the hardware box was opened, bolts and washers are everywhere. The table and chairs are made out of very solid material. Being an online purchase, I was expecting something more like particle board or something like that. Not so. I'm very happy with the quality of the table and chairs so far (2 weeks). The only thing that was a surprise was the color. If you want the medium brown in the Wayfair photos online, you need to buy something else. The color of this set is a dark chocolate brown, not medium brown. The color works for me so I have no complaints, but be warned the color online is much lighter than what will arrive at your home via FedEx. One last thing...I did have to get three new chair backs because of discoloration and scratches. But Wayfair was great...they sent them out immediately and everything was put together. It’s a very nice set. However, I regret not having purchased the version of it with the chairs just wood, without the upholstery. I had assumed that in the future the fabric on the chairs could be replaced. However, the professional who assembled it let me know that in this particular furniture it’s not possible to replace the fabric upholstery on the chairs. So, once they get dirty or old, that’s it. I think, it should be mentioned in the online description that the fabric on the chairs cannot be replaced. Also, the professional assembly fee for the set was quite expensive. (It didn’t take the professional so long to do it. I think, the assembly fee listed for it was not assessed appropriately.) In addition, the fabric on the chairs are a bit shiny looking. This is a great dining set - very reasonably priced, good for a slightly smaller space (with the leaf, gives you some options). Relatively easy to assemble - the chairs are the hardest part (since you have to attach both the seat itself and the legs, versus just the legs for the table/bench). Finish is great, really sturdy set. Had 2 overall concerns - 1, the benches DO NOT fit under the table, even when the leaf is out. That's a little odd to me, but fine. 2, one of the chair legs had 1 hole that was not properly sized and was difficult to get the screw in (that does happen sometimes with manufactured pieces). It was only the one leg on one item, and we were able to make it work with a bit of elbow grease and force of will. All in all, this is a great set for a reasonable price.. Kristin. Bronx, NY.
