For the most part this is a very study table and easy to assemble. I gave it four stars because the table was damaged upon delivery. Customer service at Wayfair gave us several options to remedy the situation and were great to work with, but in the end we settled for a 20% discount which was enough to repair the table. Along with the matching sideboard ( also purchased at Wayfair), both have transformed our dining room’s appearance to a cohesive, comfortable place to dine & hang out with family & friends. Without the addition of the insert, the table is already larger than our former dining room table & very comfortably sits 6 to 8 with the seating we have currently.
