So easy to put together even by yourself--only need to attach the arm rests and legs. No tools needed as.the screws and hex key are provided. The hardest part was taking it out of the box (or in my case, ripping the box away from the couch). As a couch, it feels great if you like stiffer support, like I do. If youre looking for a cloud to sit on, this aint it. Similarly the bed portion is kinda of stiff for sleeping but its easily solved by a mattress topper.
Its super easy to fold and unfold, but mine didnt come with directions, so here are some tips. To flatten it to a bed, unfold the seat to flat first. Then unzip the pockets in the back of the backrest and unbend the legs for the backrest. After, gently pull the backrest forward first (like the backseat of your car when youre trying to get to your trunk from the inside of your car) and then push it all the way back to the floor. If you want to recline, you have to pull it up to the desired angle from the flat position. Note, the back has a huge exposed zipper (see pic) so if you dont put it against a wall, youll probably want a throw blanket or something else to hide it. Fair warning, it seems smaller than a twin in terms of width so larger guests and guests who roll in their sleep may feel uncomfortable with the width.
