The hardware package was unopened but, there were three assembly screws out of eight missing (they are being ordered). I have had the chair for about two weeks now and am pleased with the quality, the assembly and the comfort as a chair, when laid out as a bed (which is a cinch) it is not as comfortable as expected. Couch is roomy with storage. However assembly was not easy. Instructions were not good with nothing labeled. Would be good for a kids room because of all the storage. Not much support for adult use.
