It is very easy to assemble. While sitting on it, it is firm which I like it. Little disappoint is, it's small in width in sense of sit position. As for example I have other brand sofa almost in the same price range. It has more sit room and space back rest in position but this new one seems to be tightly on this case. The hardware package was unopened but, there were three assembly screws out of eight missing (they are being ordered). I have had the chair for about two weeks now and am pleased with the quality, the assembly and the comfort as a chair, when laid out as a bed (which is a cinch) it is not as comfortable as expected. It doesn’t look like in the picture. When I sleep all the cushions move out of place including the wheels that expands the bed. Not what I expected. Called customer service to get a refund and it hanged up my calls several times. The refund policy is to return it the way it came. After several hours assembling this item, now I have to unscrew everything and put them in the boxes I already threw away and will be charge more for the refund.
