The chair mat works well on hardwood, tile, low-pile carpet, and high-pile carpet.

The chair mat arrived today in perfect condition and my grandson and I installed it because it’s a little bit on the heavy side about 140 pounds but we got it in place and put the little feet on the bottom of it and I’ve been sitting on my office chair for about half an hour, and I can move it very easily where when I sat on the carpet for half an hour, the office chair was about impossible to move because it had sunk down and I have not flush carpet, but I have fairly thick carpet and a fairly thick foam pad underneath so this is absolutely perfect and I give it five stars and if I had 10 stars, I’d give it 10 stars. Made of thick PVC. Offer a protection solution for hard floors. Protect flooring against harsh scuffs and scratches caused by the desk chair. Clear design will complement any decor of your home or office. Dull polish makes the scuffing less visible. A smooth surface allows your desk chair to glide easily over the mat. This mat is smooth on one side and grinding on the other. When your floor is smooth, please use the grinding side facing down. If your floor has texture, please use the smooth side facing down. Because of long-term transportation and weather changes, the mat is irregular when it is just taken out. Please iron it with boiled water, and then put the mat down and press it with heavy objects for 3-5 days.

My rolling office chair damaged my Brazilian cherry hardwood floors. So I knew it was time to buy a chair mat. My sister has an Anji Mountain chair mat and recommended the brand. I initially didn’t want to pay that much so I ordered a $30 mat from another retailer, which I returned. Compared to this Anji Mountain rug pad, the $30 gray and white mat was flimsy and arrived with many more creases from where it was folded. Plus, the color didn't work in my space. This Anji Mountain rug pad is folded once and quite sturdy. My chair easily rolls over it. My desk is visible from my dining and living rooms. I searched hard for a beige or cream rug pad that would complement the colors in my living room but couldn’t find anything that exactly matched my criteria. Wayfair customer service searched for me too and offered up several suggestions, including this one. This one is gray but the lighter stripes are greige, so it appears warmer. The pattern is geometric, modern, and sophisticated. It has a decidedly Japandi quality, which I find attractive.. Kristin. Seattle. Tue Jun 02 2026

The mat fits my computer desk area perfectly. However, it is not as transparent as I thought it would be. It's clear but has a frosted design to it. Highly engineered and patented, this rugged chairmat is a thoughtful curation, bringing the utility of both, chair mat and rug, together. Made using renewable materials, you get a diverse collection of patterns to choose from. Consisting of three layers of functionality, it’s distinguished from conventional chair mats. The intricately woven top layer offers effortless roll-ability for chair casters. The middle layer is made using PVC that provides robust support and durability whilst the anti-skid bottom layer keeps it securely in place, without leaving any marks.

Excellent chair mat for thick carpet! I purchased the 5" chair mat and it works exactly as expected. Before using it, moving my chair on the carpet was very difficult because the carpet is quite thick. After installing the mat, my chair glides smoothly with no issues at all. The quality is great, and I highly recommend this product to anyone with thick carpet flooring.. Sarah. Bc, Canada. Mon Jun 15 2026
