I purchased the blue linen version of this sofa. I had trouble deciding how to rate it because there are features I love and hate about it. I have been searching for a small convertible sofa for over a year. The main feature that attracted me to this piece is that it's "convertible". I also wanted blue. It's really difficult to find a coloured sofa in this "neutral" market. Most of the convertible sofas I looked at were massive or awkward to switch back and forth from sofa to bed. I think it has an interesting look to it and I love that it folds down completely flat. People are correct when they say its hard and somewhat uncomfortable. It's more like luxury patio furniture than a proper sofa so keep that in mind if you choose it. I have a twin mattress pad that I put on it for a bit more cushioning and I can still feel the base but my husband says it's fine as is for napping. I love that you can put a mattress pad on it and twin sheets to protect it and use it as a temporary twin bed. There are no arms to get in the way of lying down and spreading out fully. There are not words in the dictionary to describe how much I hate this couch and wish I never bought it. I spoke to a customer service rep on the phone directly to ensure that it was, in fact, 59 inches as advertised. As you can see, it is not 59 inches, it is 43 at best. It doesn't even look close to the photos in the listing. The legs are wobbly, the screws for the arms are not long enough, and calling it a rock would be an insult to rocks. After one customer service rep lied to me about a pickup service Wayfair does not even offer, I finally was able to recoup my money. At one point, a customer service representative asked if I could drop off this 75 pound monster at a FedEx location to be returned. I do not know what kind of Olympian they believe me to be, but that is not feasible in a 7th floor apartment with no car. This is my second time riding the merry-go-round of customer service for damaged or incorrect items. It's just what I was looking for. I needed to get the largest pull out sleeper possible with taking up the least amount of space and this did both. HOWEVER, The black is not black at all, thankfully that worked for me but if you want black you won't be happy. It's a brown and gold combo. It's also not faux leather, but a cotton or something like that. Additionally, the price lowered by $130 before I even received it and Wayfair told me that they wouldn't credit me the difference.
