Well made super comfortable queen size sleeper sofa! I’m a 66 year old woman with a history of back problems, I managed to assemble this myself with minimal trouble... it’s a lot heavier than some of the reviews had led me to believe, but I got the job done in less and than an hour (including unboxing sliding it down the hall into the spare room using felt wood floor sliders) The back folds down flat easily without having to pull out the couch more than a few inches from the wall, and the only minor “con” I can think of I wish there was a mid-reclining option between the single one provided and the uprightflat position it’s a wee bit TOO inclined for my taste, but nothing a few throw pillows can’t remedy. Big plus I have long legs like the deep seat cushions on the couch, and the pop up trundle makes a fantastic lounger! ) The queen mattress is REALLY FIRM, so I bought a thick fluffy mattress cover to cushion it a bit for guests one side is cotton for summer, and the other is faux-wool plush for winter, which should make this the world’s most comfortable guest bed - EVER! The photos show the space behind the sofa in the reclining upright positions (the one with my little dog, Fergie, is of the sofa in the reclining position) The space in back of the sofa isn’t noticeable from the front, and actually leaves room for curtains to hang nicely. Finally, to add a cozy touch ( keep off pet hairs), I threw on an easy-to-wash cotton bedspread — there are so many different looksoptions for this wonderful sofa bed.... I am here to solve the color mystery of the Turquoise Velvet couch! First, it is NOT an emerald green like most of the photos show. But it is a gorgeous color regardless, as long as you’re not set on emerald green specifically. It’s even named “turquoise velvet” so I don’t understand why the photos were color corrected to a green tone. My photo collage shows the most common lighting situations the left is the true color in indirect daylight and the right is the true color in a warm indoor light. I’m a photo editor and a big part of that is color correcting, so you can trust my edits. So the lighting chart included is also incorrect. I haven’t assembled the couch yet, so I can’t comment on sturdiness but it came undamaged at first inspection! The seat cushions feel firm with some bounciness to them and the velvet is super soft. I’ll add photos once it’s in my new apartment next month. Hope this helped! PS My hair color has the exact same color variations depending on the lighting, it’s so weird! I was pleasantly surprised with the arrival of this couch! The color was a darker burnt orange rather than light orange as pictured on wayfair. Super easy to build as a solo woman, took me 30 minutes. I will say that there are some discrepanies. As in the 2 pieces don't fit together evenly, so even with them sitting up together there's a slight seam flaw and cushion flaw where you can tell the builder and seamer didn't work on it correctly. Sofa was as described. The 'green' color was a beautiful teal - perfect for my living room. The packaging was compact, easy to get into my apartment and to open. Once the box was opened, all the 3 large pieces (2 arms, back), legs, went together easily. Only needed a screwdriver. Extra bonus- Nathalia easily converts to a twin sleeper.
