This is a great desk. The instructions were somewhat difficult to follow but still put it together in an hour. The mix of rustic wood and black metal really elevate the look of the desk. I got this desk to simplify my work environment, but still needed room for dual monitors. This has plenty of room for two screens, my keyboard and my notes/work papers. It was also easy to construct with straight forward instructions. I'm happy with the quality of the desk for the price. Unfortunately the desk I received came chipped in the front, but that could have happened in the shipping process (pictured). As my mother gets older and is less stable on stairs, I decided to set up an office space for her on the main level so she didnt have to go downstairs to her current office. I wanted a simple desk that could be placed in the guest room while keeping the bed in it. This desk fit the bill and was very easy to put together. The instructions booklet was very clear but would be difficult for one person to install alone. I would wait until you have it mostly together to tighten all the screws as there are some pieces you could easily install backwards, and also be sure to have someone to help hold the boards as they’re a bit heavy for one person to hold while trying to tighten the screws.
