The "solid wood" is definitely veneer on top which is fine, and the "stone slab" is like a man made stone. It feels and looks like plastic, but apparently it is actually scratch resistant. We have a cat so that was important to me. Smooth, soft close doors and drawers which is very nice. Overall good quality for the price.. Katharine. Sat Apr 04 2026

Anchor your dining room with Chiaro, a 71-inch sideboard with cabinet doors finished in a three-dimensional walnut parquet. Craftsmen hand-lay the veneer in shifting directions, so light and shadow move across each door. That play of light gives Chiaro its name. Behind the doors, two adjustable shelves let you set the heights for dishware, linens, or barware, keeping everything out of sight. A black glass top adds contrast and depth above the warm walnut body, while slender painted-metal feet keep the stance light. At 71 inches wide, it doubles as a buffet or credenza. Easy assembly under 20 minutes.

This is a lovely sideboard cabinet. The assembly was easy with the exception of one of the magnetic closing pins being broken. They are sending a fix for that. The unit is well built and feels like it will last. Very happy with it and would get it again. Thank you!. Jaered. Onaway, MI. Thu Aug 13 2026

Serve up the perfect cup of coffee and enjoy the compliments you will receive about selecting this richly finished, practical buffet. The six keys will be listened to and the tassels will hang around to the end.

Great solid wood unit. Solid walnut top however is prone to split cracking and I can see that these crack starting to show. Expensive.. Robert. Brooklyn, NY. Wed Apr 15 2020

Solid Walnut, 2 Keys, Fruitwood Finish, 2 Adj. Shelves.

Beautiful piece and fit perfectly in a narrow entry way. Only complaint is the shelves have gouges on them, no one will see them since they are enclosed but this shouldn’t happen at this price.. Amanda. Columbia, IL. Mon Apr 20 2026

Introducing our elegant buffet cabinet – a piece designed not just to store, but to transform. This sophisticated sideboard storage cabinet is your answer to a tidy, beautiful, and highly functional home.

Item arrived in damaged packaging but had enough styrofoam to keep the parts safe. Wayfair says this item is by Ebern Designs but the item that arrived is by PatioChic with an Outlook email address for customer service. Assembly took about 2 hours. The doors were labeled wrong which caused some problems as the hinges and doors have to go on in a specific way. The backboard is in two two-part pieces and held together by tape which has me concerned about longevity. The door hardware is a flimsy metal and coated in dark gold. Some of the gold on the underside of one of the handles arrived scratched off. I plan to replace the hardware. Color is very dark and closer to black but still matches my other pieces. The front top edge and outer doors have curves which is a nice touch that can’t easily be seen in the item listing photos. Doors feature a soft-close hinge which is not something I expected to see at this price. The door texture and fluting is very nice. The reminder of the top and sides has no actual texture. It is smooth with a wood texture print. Cabinet has lots of space for the price and only time will tell if it holds up like a name brand competitor.. Taylor. Thu Mar 26 2026

This farmhouse sideboard cabinet is a study in textured warmth, where a distinctive oval grain pattern dances across the surface like ripples in a still pond. Soft-close mechanisms prevent slamming, ensuring no loud noises disturb the peace of your home—only quiet, gentle closing like a whispered goodnight. Smooth rounded edges reduce the risk of accidental bumps, making this piece a gentle guardian for busy households. The warm finish and clean lines blend seamlessly with farmhouse, rustic, mid-century, and Scandinavian dreams.

GORGEOUS. Comes fully assembled. Exceeded my expectations.. Jayme. Paducah, KY. Tue Dec 15 2020

Layers of clean details. Warm wood and full-grain leather pull add storage panache and practicality to the bedroom, living room, or dining room. Door units feature adjustable shelves and wire management holes.

This is a great product. Drawers are dovetailed, which was unexpected. Comes assembled which I didn't expect given my previous Blu Dot orders. Quality is a lot higher than other Blu Dot products I've owned (sofa, desk). Some panel gaps were slightly off but they can be easily adjusted with the hinges. Walnut on "dark walnut" is actually fairly light. I was surprised at how light it was. I had to double check a couple times that it wasn't "light walnut". It looks great though, but may be hard to quite match if I get another walnut piece from a different brand. Pros: Very well made, ships assembled, unique, very minimal look Cons: Verify the walnut finish if you have other walnut pieces. Guyon. San Francisco, CA. Fri Jan 08 2016
