I got the sofa bed in beige faux leather with cherry legs. I have not tried sleeping on it, and it is quite solid to sit on, but it is nonetheless exactly what I needed. I wanted to convert my son's old room into a den/guestroom that could accommodate him on his infrequent visits home (a regular sofa might have made him feel unwelcome and displaced) or that could accommodate the occasional overnight guest without encouraging them to linger too long. This sofa is the perfect size to create a reading corner amidst a wall of books, while still providing reasonable sleeping accommodations for 1-2 guests. I am very pleased. I looked far and wide before finding anything in a pale beige faux leather (I am vegan and dislike large dark sofas). This sofa sleeper has a drop-down console that includes cup holders and some storage. All of that included in a modern three over three seat and back cushion profile that is also a pull-out sofa. The console can be closed to look like a typical sofa. The all over fabric is a soft chenille in shades of brown and ivory. The accent pillows are geometric designs that have an ivory background with brown and orange patterns. The seat cushions are reversible for added wear and tear. Sit or sleep.

Unfortunately this didn’t fit in the door! The issue was with the length, not the width. It was as tall as the apartment corridor ceiling (which is lower than the apartment ceiling). It appeared to be a nice sofa but as the delivery guys tried to maneuver it in the door, a couple of bolts fell out so didn’t give me a lot of faith in its structure. I needed a heavy duty fold down sofa that would hold up to everyday wear and tear. This sofa has very rugged material. It’s basically a very firm mattress. It almost reminds me of a long school bus seat. The springs are very firm and a bit bouncy. Definitely not the most visually appealing but I think this will hold up very well, especially for it costing under $1,000. The arm rests do not feel very secure. You will not be able to move the couch using the arms, but it can be used without the arms on it if need be. My husband slept on it last night with the puppy and he said it was very comfortable. I will say, he prefers very firm mattresses due to back surgery he had years ago. The material is stapled in the back (see pic). I love the design, the colour and the fit in my room. It's a little firmer than I thought it would be but I like it. It had no instructions on putting it together, it had no tools that came with it, but it wasn't too difficult. You definitely must have power tools though as there are no pilot holes anywhere and you are screwing into hardwood. Installing the back was difficult on my own, but again, I managed.
