I had a largerlonger wider dark wood table in the dining space previously and although I liked it and the wood matched the dark wood doors on my buffet (also from Wayfair!) it just really made the space look and feel so tight and cramped. And while this only offers half the seating, we rarely use the room so it’s a win no matter what!! 4 stars instead of 5 though bc a screw popped through the table top while assembling… really feel like that shouldn’t have been so easy to do. Still waiting on the chairs for this table. The base is heavy and the wood is excellent quality. I wish the tabletop were about an inch thicker, as it is quite thin with a very thick/dense base which throws off the aesthetics a bit. I think this is better than the price. It super easy to put together (put on the 4 legs and that’s it) and super easy to extend. It is very small when closed (which is what I wanted). The extension works on metal slides which isn’t often seen on inexpensive tables. It looks great, too. As you can see, my eating book has been overtaken by a bog bed, dog food container, and dog water bowl so I needed something really small. I’m a fan!. Elizabeth. Wilmington, DE. Tue Aug 04 2026

Excellent quality, colour matches the listing and the grain of the extension blends nicely, it’s solid and sturdy. No scratches or cheap coverchips etc. Instructions are pretty good but be careful around the step when attaching the legs, as we didn’t realize they need to go in reverse so that the top piece is like a box which will store the leaf. So as you see when we open it we can’t store the leaf inside, which is unfortunate but not horrible. Just beware so you don’t make this mistake. Lots of parts to put together took about 2 hours with hand drill. But worth the purchase, exactly what we wanted!. Ana Maria. Maple Ridge, BC. Tue Sep 22 2026
