Robust and Versatile Office Mat This PVC floor mat is designed for use on hardwood, tile, laminate, or vinyl flooring, offering excellent protection against scratches and wear and tear from office chairs. Constructed from pliable and durable PVC, this mat is far less likely to tear or crack compared to conventional mats. The flexible mat may take some time to lie flat once unrolled. To expedite this, you can roll it in the opposite direction a few times before setting it on the floor. Alternatively, you can use a blow dryer to warm and soften the plastic, helping it to lay flat more quickly. Additionally, soaking the rolled-up mat in a bathtub with warm to hot water for ten minutes can help to relax the material, allowing it to lay flat. After unrolling the mat, make sure it is completely dry before placing it on the floor to avoid any potential damage. Our PVC floor mat is the ideal addition to any office or home office setup, providing comfort, durability, and floor protection, all in one simple solution.

I got size 0.25" H x 60" W x 48" D - the largest chair mat available. The hardwood floorboards under the desk in my husband's home office were beginning to look stressed, so I ordered this to protect the wood. It was a little pricey for us, but I wanted it to be large enough so he wouldn't feel constrained, and I wanted it to last forever. (I could actually have gotten it cheaper from two other vendors, but I didn't trust them as much as I trust Wayfair.) I also got the Three Year Protection Plan that was offered because, after reading many many reviews from ALL the top makers of tempered glass chair mats, I could see that VERY occasionally, for some unknown reason, a chair mat from might suddenly just shatter (usually within the first year or so), so I got the Protection Plan to calm my fears about that. Anyway, the mat came beautifully packaged and was in perfect condition. (It's VERY heavy.) Anyway, my husband is delighted with it, thinks it's beautiful, and says it's fun to roll around on.. Mary.
