It is a very pretty and sturdy bedframe. I took a star off because they were not pre-drilled holes for some screws and that was unclear in the directions. It took me one hour and and and 45 minutes to put it together as one person. Also two of the side pieces were the same so I had to unscrew the brackets and switch them so they would become opposite side frames. After all, it said and done it looks pretty nice, but the Allen wrench is very frustrating to work with as all Wayfair pieces have.. Jena. Meriden, CT. Thu Jul 16 2026

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the furniture I received. The assembly instructions were poorly detailed, making the process unnecessarily difficult. The dresser is flimsy, and the drawers remain loose even after proper installation. The furniture overall does not feel sturdy or of good quality. Additionally, the headboard required me to purchase better screws, as the ones provided were inadequate to keep the individual bars securely in place once assembled. I have yet to assemble the nightstand, but based on the quality of the other items, I have little confidence it will meet expectations. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I will not be ordering from Wayfair again.. Abraham. Aubrey, TX. Thu Dec 26 2024

Heavy solid set. Used for over a year now and is holding up well. Color has a greenish grayish tint to it, which I wish was just gray. The drawers have a scent to them that I can not get rid of and if the clothes are in the drawers for a while it does spread to them. But the set is solid and looks nice.. Lynn. Erie, PA. Not at all what it says in the description. States that is solid wood and it is almost 100 particle board and manufactured wood.. Tim. US. Sun Mar 12 2023

Captivate with a coastal style two-piece bedroom set made from solid wood. A panel bed is enhanced with a plank style headboard and frame while the matching dresser keeps your sleeping space organized.

The dresser came fully assembled except for the handles. Yay! It was well wrapped and had no injuries from the trip. The bed was a different matter. A rail that had been screwed to another piece had ripped off in shipping, stripping every screw hole and necessitating us "jerry rigging" a fix by drilling new screw holes offset from the stripped ones. It was a major pain. The headboard also had two serious rub spots on the same headboard slat, one on the left side and a mirrored one on the right side. Unfortunately the laminate was rubbed completely off in these nickel-sized rubs. We'll use a furniture marker and try to cover those. The worst part of our experience so far was the assembly instructions which were ambiguous and inspecific in places. When building the footboard we had to guess a few times as the directions photos just didn't show the detail we needed; when we guessed wrong, we had to partially disassemble and try again. Two people worked on the bed assembly for about two hours; but the frustration level got pretty high so it seemed longer at times. I can't comment on anything else right now because we haven't actually used the bed. If there are issues, I'll come back with an update.. Laurel. US. Sat Sep 03 2022

Complete your bedroom with the Edmond 6-piece Set. It includes a chevron headboard, dresser, framed mirror, chest, and two nightstands, all in a modern finish with sleek hardware. Combining ample storage and clean design, it’s ideal for contemporary homes.

So I'll start by saying that part of the issues I'm about to describe are my own fault for not fully going over the measurements before purchasing. The set is...smaller than expected. Height-wise. But again, that's my fault for not going over it. As someone who's 6 feet tall, with a wife that's 5'11", everything is very short. Just enough to be inconvenient. Drawers, dresser, even the bed, they're all much lower to the ground. Still, they look nice, just a bit dwarfed by the room. Assembly-wise, this was a nightmare. The attachment points for the legs of the dresser, nightstands, and chest are marked on the bottoms of those items, but no started or pre-drilled holes. And if you line up the leg/supports with the markings, you often have the screw points directly over where the bottoms are stapled onto the rest of the item, meaning you have to shift where the legs attach. Enough to be very annoying. The wood is not the best quality in the drawers either, as there were a lot of rough spots and splinters I had to hand-sand out before using them. The main problem I had was the bed. The headboard needs to have the legs attached to it, and when we used the premade screw holes for that...the whole thing was crooked. Not by a lot, but after the screws were put in, the legs both tilted inwards to about 2 mm on the bottom edge. Just enough to make things awkward and look very unprofessional. The slats are not strong, so I'm glad I ordered a steel frame to put inside of it. One of the slats splintered when I first laid down on the bed, so they're definitely not heavy duty. All in all, I got what I paid for. I wanted a low-priced bedroom set, and I got one. Once I've got a bit more money to spare, I'll definitely be moving this to a spare bedroom as a guest bedroom set, and investing a bit more money into a higher quality one for the master bedroom. But until then, it will do...just required more work than I wanted to put into it.. Stephen. Maryland Heights, MO. Wed Dec 24 2025
