The chairs are easy enough to assemble but the table was such a pain. I ended up not putting the fluted sliding doors. It was not worth the time and effort. Whether your breakfast nook needs a little freshening up or you simply want to create a convenient dining space where little ones can easily scoot in, this 3-piece dining set will not disappoint. Each piece– including a picnic-style, trestle-base table, and two spacious benches– is built by craftsmen from solid pine wood that's hand-distressed for that antique look you've been craving. Something we love about this handsome dining table set is how it has a clean-lined silhouette and neutral palette that pairs well with any aesthetic from a coastal cottage to a traditional farmhouse. Something to keep in mind: you'll need to put your new dining set together once it arrives, so be sure to have a screwdriver handy when the time comes.

This dining set is a modern design fable about "togetherness"—now complete with seating that cradles you in comfort. ▲Solid wood dining table is a modern design fable about "togetherness." Since ancient times, the round kitchen table has carried the warmest family memories in Eastern culture—a family gathered around, no hierarchy, no distance, only the glow of light and the sound of laughter. Drawing from the timeless philosophy of "round heaven, square earth," we have blended traditional symbolism with contemporary minimalism to create a dining table that is not merely a piece of furniture, but an emotional vessel for family life. The Sculptural Spherical Pedestal — An "Anchor" That Holds Family Love Together The most striking feature of this circle dining table is its sculptural solid wood spherical base. A bottom hemisphere (flat side standing on the floor) supports a second hemisphere above it (flat side facing up), which in turn supports a full sphere on top—three "circles" ascending in harmony. This pedestal dining table design echoes the ancient wisdom of "One generates Two, Two generates Three, Three generates All Things," symbolizing a family's roots firmly planted, ascending layer by layer, with circle upon circle of everlasting completeness. But this special design is not merely symbolic. The generous hemispherical base provides an exceptionally wide footprint, ensuring rock-solid stability—even when children climb, adults lean heavily, or the table is pushed across the floor, it stands unwavering, with zero risk of tipping. The spherical surfaces are meticulously sanded to a smooth, warm finish. Every accidental brush against the base reveals the solid wood's comforting warmth and substantial presence. ▲Now, we have paired this solid wood round dining table with suitable upholstered chairs engineered for enduring comfort—because a truly great dining experience requires a place to sit, stay, and savor every moment.

This table is pretty and good quality considering the price. It's sturdy and I'm confident will last a long time. I was, however, disappointed to see the top is not one solid piece, but rather, 2 long pieces screwed together. I looked, I thought, very closely at the description and pictures, but that detail was not obvious. Looking back, I see there is one picture that shows it, but most of the pictures blend the seam on the table (at least for the honey oak color). Having a solid table was something I specifically wanted which makes this a big disappointment for me. Despite that disappointment, we chose to keep it and I will fill the seam and paint it in the future. I just wish that detail had been more obvious.. Samantha. Dupont, WA. Sat Jun 20 2026
