This table worked perfect for the type of dining room chairs I had. I had chairs that needed to be pushed-in all the way and many of your tables have a support bracket underneath them which impedes the chair from being pushed-in. A pedestal table was the perfect solution for that. Now, all four chairs push in nicely. I found the table to be a little wobbly when you stand up if you're leaning on it. This is a safety issue, so we've put rocks (like another reviewer posted) in the pedestal. I wasn't planning on using it for storage anyway, so it all worked out. I have 30 pounds of river rock in the pedestal. The only other way to rectify the issue would be to bolt the table to the floor, and I wasn't interested in doing that.. Barbara. Ballston Lake, NY.
