Attractive table shape. I didn't put the 4 bottom round "feet" on, which to me seemed like a lot of weight on 4 tiny points, so I chose just to let the horizontal crossbars at the base be the points of contact with the floor. Glad I purchased it, just the right size for my space. The surface of the table is nice. The edge around it is almost shiny and exceptionally smooth. By contrast, the top feels slightly more textured (not 100% shiny) when running your hand over it. The "texture" I mean is very subtle and in no way detracts from, say, signing a paper that would be 1 sheet thick. It is a smooth writing surface. Again, nice table.. Abby. VA. Sat Aug 01 2026

This desk had me a bit frustrated towards the end. The instructions are a bit vague and it seems overly complicated to build. It is pretty lightweight, but overall, it is cute and a nice size for a kids room. My daughter loves this and it really blends in anywhere. It has two decent sized drawers and we really like the taller enclosed back so art supplies aren’t rolling off the desk. Worth the effort, definitely not something I would recommend building alone.. Amazing Desk, I love the Oak and old finish. After installation its proven to very sturdy and solid just it was shown in the pictures. I do not regret buying the desk and made the right choice to buy the bigger size as my work requires me to have space for a desktop and a couple of laptops.
