Wish it was slightly larger to hold an oversized monitor, but it looks good and despite the deep woodgrain in the desktop (not the preference), the black color mitigates that some. It took 30 min to assemble, including having to remove one leg and turn it over (be sure holes for levelers are facing down to the ground in Step1.) This desk looks more substantial than it is, but that is a good thing. Other than the desk top, it's all hollow, painted aluminum so definitely not a "forever" piece, but definitely recommend it.. Love this desk! One of the gears does not line up super square, and there was plenty of casting sand attached to the legs. One small ding in the front of the desk top, but not a big deal to me. Others have commented that the desk does not move up & down readily. It makes me wonder if they put any grease on the worm gear. Be generous with the grease. Desk works great! I did not tighten the wood handle super tight, so it rotates in my hand when I lower the desk. I also skip it when raising the desk top. Instead I use the wheel, like on a large valve or a ships hatch. Not as convenient as mashing a button, but it goes with the style. Plenty of room for double 24” montiors.
