I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this computer desk! It arrived quickly and was fairly easy to assemble. You will definitely need two people to be able to install the top hutch part. It’s quite heavy. Not only should you have two people, but it should be similarly tall people who are fairly strong as you have to lift it up onto pegs. I decided to only put one of the door on the top because I want to place decorative items in the other spaces. My only complaint is that the stickers it comes with to cover up the screws are not of a enough thickness to cover up the darkness of the screw, which does make it look kind of cheap when you’re up close. This desk is an excellent value at this price point. Pressed wood, but looks realistic enough. It’s quite solid and well made. It does take quite a bit of time to put together but I wouldn’t say it was hard. The directions had a lot of detail and were simple to follow. I put it together mostly alone over two days (desk one day, hutch the next). My only complaint is the picture on Wayfair is misleading in color. It is not a true grey as I had hoped. I have been looking for an office desk for quite some time and I was so incredibly happy to have ordered this one and it did not disappoint. It has a lot of surface area for not only a laptop monitors keyboard mouse, but it has a lot of workspace. It also has a USB and a USB-C, which is fantabulous nowadays it has three additional plugs that you can plug into which is great whenever you have a lot of equipment.
