Very nice looking nightstand when put together. A bit more detailed descriptive directions would have been welcome, thought my wife and I got through it. We really like the finished product. These bedside tables are beautiful -- the wood color is pretty, not to yellowy, and the caning inset is really lovely. These pieces are "light" even while being sturdy. I love the electrical outlets at the top....it's a feature I had not noticed before purchase. I put them together, and the two took about 2 hours to do. The instructions were not difficult, but it required methodically following step by step. It said not to use an electric drill, but I did, just with very little power. I really liked these night stands putting them together was a bit of a challenge because you’re doing two at a time but overall it was easy and the instructions were pretty clear. It has a very nice shine to it. It is extremely high gloss. You can see the reflection but they did have a few scratches, but I’m not sure if it came that way or those happened as I was putting it together whichever it is, it scratches easily if not careful.. I love these night stands. They come with a lot of the hardware being built internally and you just have to connect some pieces together and then a 14 turn of an allen wrench locks them together.
