I give it a 4 and not a 5 because it has two white lines running the back of the seat cushion that look and feel like unfinished zippers. My new favorite ottoman and vanity stool in one. It arrived quickly in a small box because the legs were in the ottoman. It comes wrapped in plastic as one of my photos shows, which kept the ivory colored fur clean. The faux fur is close enough to the real thing that Oscar took over assembly, curled up on the seat of the vanity stool, and slept there most of that day! When I finally got to finish assembling my new vanity stool, it took me only about 15 minutes. I agree with my boys--the faux fur is soft, and the seat is well padded and very comfy. I am using this as a vanity stool, and the extra storage space is fantastic. Now I have a place to store my hair dryer and flat iron, plus hair spray, brushes, and a makeup bag. Previously, the hair accessories were on the floor, and my makeup had spread over the entire top of the vanity. With this storage space, it is easy to straighten up my dressing room. At first, I was hesitant to sit down on the stool because the metal legs are thin, and the whole piece seems too delicate for daily use as a seat. But the stool is sturdy, and it is fine holding me. Love, love, love, love, love this bench! At this point, I need another bench/ottoman/extra seating like I need a hole in the head - I feel like I order lots of chairs, benches, and ottomans, but you never know when you might need an extra place to put someone’s bottom or feet, and most rooms/decor can fit an extra surface (place to put your purse in the dining room, a soft landing to throw your sweater in the bedroom, a spot for an extra throw in the living room…). At any rate, I fell in love with this when I saw it and it absolutely does not disappoint – even better in person! Solid wood, beautifully turned legs, chic and current comfortably upholstered seat in a lovely dark blue-gray with a subtle global-inspired stripe, and large! It’s bigger than I expected, with ample room for resting feet, sitting on, or having as an accent bench. Same height as a chair, so easy to pull up to a table for extra seating. The legs are a cool-neutral medium brown color and it feels so modern, but so classic at the same time. Literally can go with any decor. Shipped well and legs just screw into place no that’s it!
