I will report later about stability. Somehow there seems to be an extra bolt which may be a problem on my end. Initial feeling when seated is a very soft, sink in and cozy experience as the fabric is smooth and velvety. However, if you're looking for more support when sitting this is not for you. I added two more firm throw pillows to support my back. It's long enough to stretch out which is nice if you're napping. The overall look is contemporary and elegant without being overpowering. The wood support system seems solid and is good looking and you don't have to worry about legs breaking. Overall very nice piece. I'm not sure about durability of the various pillows. Just stunning. Waaaaaaay better looking in person and we loved the photos on perigold website. Quality and comfort is undeniable. Leather is supple and slightly grained. A deep warm black with deep brown undertone. My wife and I gasped at seeing this in person. Delivery crew were stunned by the look of this too. And it's wide and deep enough for two people to nap. Almost soft side to sit but just firm enough. Arm and back are low but just right. Good textured blanket and some pillows for lumbar support and your all set. This couch is a forever piece and the exposed raw edge leather puts this over the top. Would buy this again.
