This is a beautiful chair but it is on the small side. Since there was little to no description on the page, here is a little more info: The outside is black vinyl but matte, not glossy, so it doesn't look too plastic. The velvet is a pretty soft white. Seat dimensions are 15" deep x 15.5" wide. The back height of the chair is 17", 35.5" from the ground. Arms are 6" high from seat. The chair sits a little high at 19". It isn't super comfortable, but the seat has a nice cushion and it forces you to sit up straight. The swivel is 360 and nice and smooth. I'm 5'10" and slender build and I wish it sat a little deeper, but it's OK to sit in for an hour or two. If you're smaller, it'll probably be more comfortable. These are beautiful chairs. The set up was very easy to do on your own, no second set of hands needed. I will say the directions were great and had photos. They also came with white gloves. These are very substantial chairs, well made and very comfortable. Back support is such a plus. Not to mention, they are very nice looking! Definitely recommend.
