I’m sick of hard chairs. I wanted something comfy and padded and swively so people would stay at the table instead of migrating to softer furniture with food and for playing board games. Yet, I wanted a wipeable surface because…kids. I *almost* got what I was looking for with these chairs. They look nice and modern, they swivel well (some get a bit loose), and they are comfortable. The two cons that I have are 1) I wish the angle of the chair was a little more upright and 2) my niece spilled a drink and it seeped down to the padding because of the holes where the stitching makes “stripes”, so they definitely aren’t waterproof which makes me sad. The wood color was very similar to online and they match our table pretty well. The green has the wear lines as shown in the orginal photos, but it looks better in person than in photos. Nice dining chair. Right height for my table. Love the color as my dining table is black. I ordered the cream color and it is a true cream. The chair is very comfortable to sit in. I did have a little trouble assembling one of them, the holes for the bolt were not lining up. My husband was finally able to get the bolt in by drilling the hole a little bigger. The chairs arrived in a crushed box but nothing was lost or damaged in shipping. Surprisingly most of the box was just air and could had used more support. I didn’t have instructions, but it was easy and quick to figure out. Each chair came with extra bolts and an Allen wrench. The chairs feel sturdy and swivel smoothly. They are on the small side, but fit my small space and work for me (5’6”woman) just fine. The padding is too firm for my taste but I hope it gives more after use. Overall they work great.. Vanessa.
