Step into a living room built around the Mahadi Sophisticated chair, where top grain leather in a rich, natural finish becomes the centerpiece of every gathering. It's the seat everyone reaches for first, and the one that still feels special a decade from now. A smooth 360-degree swivel base gives it a distinct, unmistakable presence in the room. What makes this leather special? Top grain leather covers every surface of this chair, 100% real hide, with no splits or bonded leather anywhere. The hand finish is what gives it that buttery-soft feel, and its light wax protection means the leather only gets more beautiful with age. We hold back nothing but the finest cuts for production, and it shows. How is this piece constructed? Handcrafted in Mexico from the frame up, this chair is made to order, so the leather cutting process begins the day you order, not before. A solid, hand-crafted wood frame provides the backbone, while expert joinery and a webbing support system ensure lasting structural integrity through years of use. What makes the cushions comfortable and supportive? Comfort here is layered: the back cushions are filled with foam for a plush, sink-in feel, while the seat cushions combine pocket coils and foam for the kind of support that holds up over years of use. Beneath the seat cushions, a sinuous coil system adds resilience, so the chair keeps its shape and comfort well past the first season. How should I care for it, and how will it age? Maintenance is refreshingly low-key: a soft, dry cloth and occasional dusting keep this chair in great shape. The leather isn't meant to stay pristine and untouched, it's meant to develop a rich patina over time, becoming more distinctive the longer you own it. Combined with its construction, this is a piece meant to last for years, not seasons.

So, Ive been stalking these armchairs for multiple years now...I wanted the perfect, most comfortable, elegant but loungy, sitting chairs for our music room. I researched what different leather terms meant, shopped for alternatives, and ultimately came back to these beauties. So as others have noted, they have top grain leather on the armrests and cushion. Split grain leather is used around the sides and back. The top grain is slightly smoother in touch and look, and a tad shinier. I worried the visual difference (shinier vs. more matte) would bother me, but you really cant tell. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL and incredibly comfortable! I hope to have them for life. My husband is 64 and he feels very comfortable in them. Im 56 and they fit me like a dream. Definitely recommend pre-measuring your space, as they are sizeable, but if you can fit them, you should buy and dont look back. The colors are rich, the quality feels high end, they are sturdy. You wont regret it.. Tracy. West Linn, OR. Sun Jul 02 2023

LOVE this chair and can’t believe it’s at such a discounted price. Excellent quality. Color goes well with gray and beige scheme. Packaged well and easy to put together. So comfortable!. Anonymous. Fri Aug 21 2026

This armchair offers comfort, quality, and a sleek transitional look that will blend with any home’s décor.

So originally I ordered the brown one and I loved it so much, I decided to order the other color which supposed to be navy blue but as u can see is nothing like a navy blue. I I put a navy blue shirt on the chair so you can see the color difference. One picture is with my door open and lots of light the second picture is, the chair already put together with less light. This chair has more green to it then blue. I called Wayfair and made them aware of it. I decided to keep the chair, I preferred a navy blue one but I can still work with this color too. This chair is very comfortable, great quality and easy to put together. Wayfair did take care of this issue with a discount. Wayfair has great customer service!. Barbara. Killeen, TX. Fri Feb 03 2023

Swooped armrests, buttery soft grain leather, and a solid ash wood frame modernize this stately accent chair. A button-tufted cushion supports its gentle half-back, and a bonded leather support weave softens a wider seat underneath the feather and foam-filled cushion. With a generous silhouette that leaves room for added comfort, this armchair is an easy addition to your living room, bedroom, or home office.

I would give this chair 6 stars if I could, it’s gorgeous!! The leather is very high quality, but with more cool undertones and not as rich in color as the photos show. It’s very comfy.
