This chaise is so comfy and so plush and fit perfectly into a small nook in my daughter’s room. I would give it 5 stars but it had a very strong “import” smell when it came out of the air sealed bag. First, I have to say that with all the poor reviews regarding putting it together I nearly didnt get it. This only took 15 mins to put the wheels on. No issues. Second, so many have suggested this is good for kids. I would NOT recommend this for children. Unless your kids sit still and are easy on furniture, this is not good for kids. The back MUST be positioned against a wall (not a problem here, but if kids are going to be on it or its not against a wall, forget it. The back will likely snap off -its wobbly.) The unit itself is very sturdy though! Sitting on it while I write this and feels solid. Lastly, reviews said it was VERY hard- firm- and it is, but I love it! But again, a reason its not for kids, because theyre used to flopping down on cushy things and this is like plywood with a thick foam solid cushion on top ...when I go to flop down forgetting that its firm I realize quickly its like sitting on a step of cement. However, I do love this! Im thrilled that I got it! Its the right color, though in this lighting it looks gray but I purchased the black one and is indeed black. It is a Tweed fabric, so the white specks in the fabric paired with our lighting make it appear light gray, its not. It is not lovely to the touch but not as awful as it could be. My favorite thing about this is that its incredibly versatile! Im a small person so when I sit down with pillows behind me my feet touch the floor, the positioning is perfect for leaning back on (side ways and fully extended of course), and is the right size for an armrest (When I read armrest in the booklet that came with it I was like what armor rest No joke its just like an armrest perfect height for me). When you lay down on it its perfect for someone who is shorter and prefers firm surfaces to sleep on (though narrow, so know that). I have back issues, and suffer on air mattresses or soft beds. I LOVED that people reviewed it as being too hard because I knew it would be perfect for me! Were using this in a spare room. Its the right height for a low coffee table, can be seating or pull-out overnight bed, can be moved into the living room for an ottoman or chair, and fits just about anywhere. I was very concerned because I thought I was going to cover up a plug in the wall with the back of this however when you pull it out the bottom clears the entire outlet! The one thing Im not thrilled about is I think that in shipping the pull out portion was bent, its a little out of alignment but it still works fine, its just going to irk my OCD and I do worry about its function. I would never pay full price for this item. And honestly I would have expected it to be about 10 to 20 less than it was on sale, but it was absolutely worth it for as many different ways as we can use this.. Amber. Willowick, OH. Theyre great! Sit a bit hard, but got them as extra sleeping space when my grandkids visit (once a year) and they work perfectly in the room as I didnt want another bedroom! Actually I just finished the room tonight except for ordering one more thing for wall above plant behind chair. Wanted a casual sitting room and a place for the grandkids to watch tv or play video games. Larger tv still coming. They are EXTREMELY LARGE AND DEEP! If you dont have a decent sized room, I wouldnt recommend them. I have them on an 8x10 rug and actually just ordered the poofs and was able to match them very well! You definitely need an extra pillow behind your back to sit in these. Im 57and without it, they are way too deep. The cushions that come with it, youll see, I put them on the back of the chairs to fill in the space where the head of the chair goes down. I absolutely cannot say anything bad about this chair except that it doesn’t come in more colors. Before it was even fully unwrapped it started to come to life. Within minutes of being unwrapped, it was fully sturdy. This sturdiness does make it heavy, so lift with your legs. It has a grippy bottom, it’s wide, pretty, and soft, and it’s immediately incredibly comfortable. I love it so much and it’s only been an hour; I can’t wait to see what it’s like completely full!. It's been home for a hours and I already love this chaise! It wasnt hard to assemble but I needed my husband's muscle to put the back on. It fluffed out to a nice size already. The blue is very rich and matches my navy blue decor perfectly. It really is very soft and comfy for me to lounge in. Im 5'3, 180lb. This convertible chaise is great. I've seen some complaints about the cover material. I'm not sure what those costumers are looking at. This piece is made of dense memory foam. It needs 24-36 hours to stabilize. Open your box, follow the directions and then be patient. You will be very glad you did. Use the last 5% of the expansion to fit the zip on covers. Wait too long and it's like zipping an over stuffed suitcase. Regardless, it can be done. I'm really excited for this new piece for the house. This is a great piece of sturdy furniture and it really elevates a bonus bedroom that I am using for my dogs when I need to go out and run errands! The guys who put it together said it’s hard to make it lay flat but I won’t need to use it for that unless I have more than two additional people come over and stay the night that overflows from the guest room so I will cross that bridge when/if I come to it. I added a beautiful, oversized, needlepointed pillow and it really stands out as a unique piece of furniture. I am contemplating buying another one for my office so stay tuned!
