The table is very well made. Very sturdy and has a tempered glass top. The extensions at each end of the table are easy to open and close. Beautiful table and easy to put together. It took almost 2 months for delivery, but we got it during COVID. The only thing we didn’t like is that it came damaged on one of the corners. A small damage that we can repair quickly by lightly sanding and staining it so not a big deal and not worthy to send it back after all the wait. Other than that we are pretty happy with the table. The solid wood construction feels substantial and high quality, and you will definitely want two people to move the giant box when it arrives. Everyone is amazed at how beautiful this table is. It matches my kitchen perfectly in all ways. Very sturdy and large enough to fit my whole family. I love the style, wood grain, and finish. I didn't give it 5 stars because the table had multiple cracks, chips, and dings. One defect looked like it had been made with a hammer - on the top of the table. Most of the most obvious defects are made less visible because of the grain of the wood and I should be able to sand out some of the others. Despite the defects I am in love with this piece. This table is so pretty! I do think the top of the table is slightly lighter in color than the base of the table but not enough to truly bother me. I searched for hours and hours for a dining room table, and I’m so glad I found this one. It feels sturdy and high quality. I don’t see any scratches or dents being an issue for every day use.
