I ordered ivory, it actually works on my chairs well. Ivory is doing a good job of hiding the dark brown color and busy print of the chairs, it's not showing through. My chairs are also a little awkward to cover since they are like the picture but part of the top 6" of the chair back is wood, not fabric. I especially like the banding at the bottom which seems to be doing a great job of holding the fabric in place on the chair. I like the texture of the cover, especially in ivory, because it looks much nicer than just plain covers. I suspect this cover in a color would be very nice, maybe nicer than ivory but I needed that color. In the end they are covers but they are doing a great job of toning down the original chair fabric which no longer work with the room. I hate couch covers, but I have dogs and a granddaughter that live with us. So I keep this on . I must say that I am pleased that the dogs hair doesn’t seem to stick to it, a big plus. It is in 3 separate pieces, clearly marked with tags, it was very easy to put on and it stays put. It has a nice soft feel to the fabric, it says it’s a velvet fabric, but it’s not a velvet look. Fits surprisingly well even tho my cushion measurements were a little too long. The 2 pieces make the fit much nicer than the single piece slip covers.
