We ordered a couple of these chairs to fill some space in our living room. They look great and assembled easily. We weren't quite sure what color they would be. The description claims they are blue velvet. But in my living room they look teal, which for us works out fine. However, I noticed in the photo I took the chair looks more blue. I think this is because the fabric has a sheen to it and the light from the camera flash bounces off of it. We are hoping the cats will not be interested in scratching the velvet fabric!. Linda. We really like these chairs! We were skeptical, as most things we get from this site seem poor quality. But I like these chairs!! My only disappointment is that the pink color is so faint. I would prefer a richer, more saturated color. I add pillows to take care of that. The thing I like most about these is that I can sit up straight instead of being forced to lean back which puts my back into a spasm. We have expensive chairs from Dania that kill my back and I can barely walk when I get up from sitting in them. These pink chairs feel fantastic. The Chihuahua is in 7th heaven because we bought two of these- we now have four chairs and four footstools which means the dog has his choice of chairs now, too, and doesn’t always want to sit in my lap when I watch TV. I bought two of these barrel chairs for a side space in a bedroom. They were packed extremely well and assembly was limited to putting legs on the chair and ottoman. Both were considered to be sturdy and comfortable. The stitching appeared tight and the accents were solid. They are comfortable to sit in, but they are small so a larger person might want to consider that.
