The instructions were not difficult, but it required methodically following step by step. It said not to use an electric drill, but I did, just with very little power. The nightstands are beautiful and arrived in PERFECT condition. The packaging was superb and clearly someone learned the merits of proper protection when shipping furniture. The nightstands came preassembled (BIG PLUS!), are well built with drawers attached to metal guide rails and the materials/paint a good quality.
