I’m sick of hard chairs. I wanted something comfy and padded and swively so people would stay at the table instead of migrating to softer furniture with food and for playing board games. Yet, I wanted a wipeable surface because…kids. I *almost* got what I was looking for with these chairs. They look nice and modern, they swivel well (some get a bit loose), and they are comfortable. The two cons that I have are 1) I wish the angle of the chair was a little more upright and 2) my niece spilled a drink and it seeped down to the padding because of the holes where the stitching makes “stripes”, so they definitely aren’t waterproof which makes me sad. We have only just received these, so this review does not include a long term use. They are nice right out of the box. Easy to assemble. The wood color was very similar to online and they match our table pretty well. The green has the wear lines as shown in the orginal photos, but it looks better in person than in photos. I wish the chairs were higher! They are too low for the 30 inches high tables that suddenly became a norm. My previous table was 28 inches tall and it was a European model. I got this chair to fit under my desk. The height of the space under my desk is 22.75”. The first two inches of the arms fit under my desk but the rest didn’t so for that reason I will be returning it. Other than that the quality of the chair received is great. I love the cushion of the chair itself and bought it for that reason as well as the design. I would have liked a bit more upper back support but it is comfortable as is for a more relaxed space.
