Nice desk with good storage especially the one file drawer. I had it put together through Wayfair and definitely worth the $89.99! This writing desk features a built-in power strip and ample storage with 4 fabric drawers and 2 shelves, keeping your workspace organized. Crafted from durable P2 particleboard, it boasts a scratch-, bump-, and water-resistant surface for long-lasting use in your home office.

Great desk for a 9 year old. The drawers are fabric, the top one doesn't go in all the way because of the bar in the back. The two sections are held together with 2 wood pegs and isn't very sturdy and leaves a small gap. Our fabric drawers came really dirty. It was easy to put together and works as a nice first desk.. Lindsay. Pottstown, PA. Fri Aug 14 2026

Give your workspace a touch of tradition with this classic-contemporary Desk. The two open storage compartments atop its smooth surface and two parallel drawers provide no-fuss storage, while a dark gray finish refreshes the timeless look.

We needed a medium sized black desk for our furnished rental that would accommodate a laptop and an extra monitor or two. This is the perfect size for our small space. Desk is as pictured and feels sturdy. A little bit of a challenge getting the legs attached as it's a very tight space to work with. Just need to have some patience - but it's worth it. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend.. Irr. Florida. Sat Aug 29 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely surprised by the thickness and quality of this Traditional Writing Desk Hutch. It was intimidating because it arrived in four boxes and it is a very large hutch. However, the instructions included have clear steps with photos with enough clarity that even most beginners could figure it out. First, I would advise assembling this in the same room that you intend to keep it since it will not fit through most doorways to move without taking it apart, and it is extremely heavy. Most of this could be assembled with one person but there are parts where two people are needed, and one step where it's best for four people to help. When you place the top portion on top of the writing desk, we attempted it with two people which was a mistake. We ended up having to sit the piece down after flipping it due to the heaviness and how we had to maneuver it, but the issue was that this side had screws already inserted so having to sit it down after flipping it caused a couple screws to rip out of the desk from the weight, unable to be reinserted since this is MDF material and the holes needed to line up. Luckily there were so many screws on this side that we felt we could still safely secure it, but just a word of caution that no matter how strong you are, at the very least get a third person to help you, preferably four since you have to pick it up, turn it over, and then lift it back up on top of the desk while fitting all the screws into the holes. It is very heavy! Fortunately, everything fit perfectly into every hole, there were no missing pieces, and we did not have to make any manual adjustments to make pieces fit together at any step in the installation process. With the crown molding, the end result measures 62.5 inches wide, 85 inches tall, and 21 inches deep. The cabinets and drawers are soft close which is an amazing feature when you have kids, and the drawer rails are metal. The drawers installed completely even. Just another word of caution, after installing the hinges you will need to use the hinge screw to adjust the cabinet spacing to prevent the cabinet from catching which can cause paint to come off the cabinet. We ended up with a small knick where the paint came off in one tiny spot at the top of the cabinet because we didn't adjust spacing before opening/closing it. I also love that it has a light. We leave this on at night as a night light and it really makes the hutch stand out even more. The end result was absolutely beautiful and well worth the hours we put into assembly. It probably took 8 to 10 hours all together spread out over many days with the majority of work being completed by two people. Although this is made from MDF material, it is not cheap at all. It looks and feels like a quality made, elegant piece in our living room. The crown molding takes it to another level. Sitting at the desk, you have an abundance of space to work. You can easily fit a PC and still have plenty of room for traditional writing or homework. You have 20 inches of vertical space between the desk and the upper hutch for a PC monitor. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice desk with plenty of storage. This piece of furniture will last a long time and I really appreciate the effort the manufacturer put into making sure the installation process was a breeze. That makes a huge difference when you have something that is already labor intensive to put together.. Aprils. Sun Sep 20 2026

A perfect addition to your transitional aesthetic, this desk brings versatile style to your home or office. Made of the certified MDF and practical board, ensuring a long life span. Equipped with anti-toppling devices to prevent the furniture from tipping over. The rectangular top measures 55" wide, making it ideal for setting down a laptop, small lamp, or framed photo. The two-drawer design provides ample space to store books, office supplies, paperwork, and other daily items. Each drawer has a handy handle which makes the drawer easy to open and close. Besides, the drawers have super-smooth ball-bearing slides and will not get stuck. Easy maintenance, the desk only needs to be wiped with a dry cloth that you can clean in one minute.

I bought two of these desks. They were packaged extremely well. There were no dings or dents. The top and side legs of the desk are sturdy and feel like real wood. I like the clean lines along with a bite of detail. The assembly was easy and I was able to complete it in about an hour and a half for each. The directions were easy to follow. Do not use a power drill. I only needed a bit of assistance with putting the top on despite the directions saying it required two people.. Elizabeth. Washington Dc. Sat Jul 18 2026

We are turning our open-concept landing into a study/library area. It's a multi-purpose space for now while my daughter is living at home after college. Slowly we are remodeling, so for now we thought we'd add this French Country executive desk where she can study. This provides a beautiful, pickled wood look, with plenty of drawer space. The furniture is well-made, and VERY heavy. It comes in 4 large boxes that the FedEx driver left at our curb. Overall we love the piece! Putting it together was super smooth, until we got to the drawer slides. The holes that are pre-drilled didn't line up with the slides. Luckily my husband is an expert with power tools, so he was able to place the holes where they were needed. There is also a very visible white metal bar that I didn't see when I purchased the item. So we will likely cover this up with trim and paint it a similar color. This has made an otherwise non-functional area into a terrific spot for my daughter to study. I love the arch element and the trim, the hardware is very high-end looking, too!. Jeanette. Cincinnati, Ohio. Sun Jul 19 2026

Positives: This is a nice solid, heavy, and attractive desk. It fits perfectly in a corner of my one-bedroom apartment living room. It was fairly easy to assemble, which I did myself, as a small-framed, lightweight woman. To add the shelf, it really needs two people. One holding it up in the air, and one adding the screws. I used a kitchen trash can to support the shelf in place. Attaching it to the legs first was much easier than the instructions to attach the shelf to the back panel first. It was very thoroughly packed to avoid damage. So, there is a lot of packaging to dispose of. I like the desk overall. Negatives: (1) Comes in only one color, which is more of a dark cherry-red. My color scheme is honey oak, and I knew it would be too dark. However, there were only two other corner desks with pull-out keyboard drawers that I liked. They have wood legs and come in the same color. As it has to be right next to the TV console, the wood colors clash. I purchased this item with the black metal legs so as to have less of the desk's wood showing next to the TV console, and as I have a dining table with black metal legs. This didn't help avoid color clashing very much. Especially once I added the antique dark wood chair to the desk, which matches the desk pretty good, but too much dark wood for a small room for my liking. I'll likely replace the chair for an office chair in an aqua color to match my ocean theme and brighten it up. (2) The handle on the drawer hangs on my thighs. I'm going to replace it. (3) The keyboard moves around when typing, so I placed some fabric coasters underneath it. (4) The drawer is not wide enough to accommodate a keyboard with a number pad and a mouse pad. Thus, the mouse is sliding around on the slick wood. I folded some fabric to make a cushion for my wrist. It keeps falling off the pull-out drawer. Too many concessions.. Kimberly. Carlsbad, CA. Baroque-period detailing gives this oak desk its classic look. Made from worn black oak with metal ring pulls on its four drawers, as well as cabriole-like legs to soften the lines.
