It's perfect for storing dirty laundry until I'm ready to wash. It looks a lot nicer in our laundry room that the white plastic one we had. I like that the cloth liner can be taken out and also washed when necessary. The lid is nicer than I was thinking it would be. It actually stays up where ever you put it, and it doesn't slam shut. I highly recommend this hamper if you want to upgrade your current one. My only negative thought, is why does the description say "rolling laundry hamper", there are no wheels and the rubber tipped legs actually prevent you from even easily sliding it closer to the washing machine.
