Made of durable fir wood, the rocking chair is constructed sturdy and stylish. The attractive fan-high back and curved slatted seat provide the greatest comfort and support as you unwind after a hectic day at work. Just have a good relax on your front porch. Fir has characteristics very similar to cedar. Well known for its combination of stability and lightweight, it is commonly used in furniture, both here and abroad. While being naturally weather-resistant, it may be further stained or finished to endure and age gracefully for many years. If left unfinished, the wood will fade to a silver gray when used outdoors. Like cedar, the grain is usually straight and displays prominent growth rings and knots.

I love my rocking chair! It is heavy duty and sturdy. I am from the south and we love our rocking chairs!. Beverly. Hurricane, UT. Fri Dec 27 2024

Simply put, this chair rocks. Crafted from manufactured wood and awash in an antique oak finish, it’s a warm, welcoming addition to any living area. This rocking chair’s beige polyester upholstery, complete with lovely diamond details, rounds out the design with a touch of texture, while foam padding provides a supportive seat. This rocker prefers indoor spaces, making the porch off-limits if you’re looking to keep this piece in excellent condition.

Nice. Not too expensive of a rocker. Bought it just to rock the grandkids! Does the job for that. If you have kids you want to rock all the time, you may want to find something cushier. This is a little stiff and tilts back a little too much for me. It has been great when the grandkids are over for occasional use.. Wendy. Williamston, MI. Sat Jan 22 2022
