The Lyfe Dessk is solid and looks great after putting it together. Matte metal legs with an architectural look and a solid desk top of compressed wood with a nice gray grain look. Putting it together took some time. I did it solo but help from a friend would make it go faster. Guide to put it together is pictorial only. Pay attention to details in the pictured pieces. Also don’t tightly screw leg pieces together until you have attached to desk bottom. We are finishing out a home office in the basement. I was looking for a modern desk with some storage drawers. I like this for the clean lines and the black and white color. This desk is absolutely perfect. My office is white and gold and I had a another desk that I didn’t wanna get rid of so I got this one and turned it into an L-shaped desk and it really just puts my whole office together. This is the perfect size desk. Fits just right, not too long and not bulky. Color combination of gray and black is very elegant. Putting it together was quick and easy.
