I love the nightstands, and the assembly was very easy. There were some issues with finish on both stands. There is peeling laminate on both, and there are areas in which the stain is too dark (and looks like freckles), and where there is very little stain present. Product arrived damaged. Top marble vanity cracked at rear corner. Outer shipping package was not damaged, but inner foam padding was crushed. Seemed to be a factory packaging issue. 7-17-23 Update. I called Wayfair customer service and they were very helpful. I found that the response from the supplier was going into my Spam e-mail folder and was being blocked by my IT security. Wayfair Customer Service gets 5 stars :) I requested a replacement from the supplier, and we will update their review once it is shipped. Updated 7-19-2023. We are very happy with these bedside tables. They are beautiful, substantial, and look even better in person. The cherry finish and gold detailing give them a classic, elegant look, and they coordinate wonderfully with our bedroom furniture. The drawers are spacious, the tables feel sturdy, and overall they look much more expensive than they were. One thing I do want to mention for anyone who is sensitive to odors or VOCs: there was fairly strong off-gassing when we first brought them into the bedroom. I am particularly sensitive to chemical odors, so we moved them to a well-ventilated area and allowed them to air out before using them in the room. I would recommend doing the same if you are sensitive to new-furniture smells. That said, we really love the tables themselves and are very pleased with the quality, appearance, and value. I love the nightstands, and the assembly was very easy. There were some issues with finish on both stands. There is peeling laminate on both, and there are areas in which the stain is too dark (and looks like freckles), and where there is very little stain present. There is also an area on one nightstand where the finish is very rough and bumpy. The peeling veneer is a real concern . Hopefully, it doesn’t occur in other areas with use.. Patricia.
