Absolutely beautiful and and easy to put together. My one complaint would be that though the top IS solid wood, I was disappointed to find it still had a laminate over it. Any scratch to the surface and it will bubble if it gets wet and that will eventually ruin the surface. It is a sturdy table and the extension insert is easy ro put together, even though I am a senior citizen, with spine injuries. I did it myself. Many compliments were received. The negative part is that it arrived broken. The customer service was most helpful and we resolved the issue. For the price absolutely amazing! It’s a bit of a change for us because we switched from a HUGE oak table so it feels very lightweight to me but I might be skewed a little in that feeling. I looveee how non invasive the base of the table is - it allows so much more leg room and really brightens our kitchen.
