This chair is very sturdy, solid, well made, very nice. I’m sure I will enjoy it for many years.
HOWEVER, I’ll only giving it four stars—and I seriously considered three stars—because in the specifications it said “no assembly required,” and that’s not true. There is assembly required. The chair comes in two pieces, and you have to connect the seat and back to the leg frame using four bolts. There were no instructions and no tools included. Not a problem I’m sure for people who usehave lots of different tools and tighten bolts often, but I’m not that person.
I had to 1) figure out which way the bolts went, and 2) dig around my house to find the right combination of tools that would fit and tighten the bolts down. This took several tries, a couple of hours, and a lot of stress.
Seems like for 200 you could throw in an instruction illustration and a couple of tools to tighten down the bolts. AND DON’T SAY “NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED.”. Cheryl. TX. Mon Apr 26 2021
