We like the umbrella very much. My only suggestion is that it needs to have a strap that wraps around to hold the umbrella closed when not in use.. Anne H. The Villages, FL. Mon Nov 23 2020

I was really hesitant to get this because I’m not a fan PVC but it’s so much more resilient than the cotton one I had that got dirty and molded over time. I went with the green that has a bit of a turquoise tint to it and it is still beautiful even though I’m drawn to the more decorative umbrellas that just don’t hold up in the weather. This one doest and is still attractive because of color, design and the scalloped edges.. Jennifer. Austin, TX. Sat Jun 15 2024

First, I'm grateful that I could find an umbrella that matches the color of my patio chairs--a burgundy wine color. Not an easy thing to find based on my experience. Having said that, I was initially a bit surprised and disappointed that the umbrella fabric was actually a see-through vinyl mesh (see pix). It won't do much to block the hot summer sun, and it doesn't tilt either. Kind of pricey, as well. Still, it will suit my needs and is a keeper.. George. Escondido Ca. Mon Mar 30 2020

The umbrella took well over a month to be delivered, but I imagine they are made after the order is placed and that is the reason for the long delay. And it is very well made! One thing I didn't realize is that this particular umbrella does not have a crank like I have had with previous patio umbrellas to raise the umbrella. I had to get a stepladder and use a lot of strength to lift the umbrella to the desired hole atop the pole and then insert an attached pin through it to keep it up. I live in a desert and yet have never had a crank break, so I am not sure why such an expensive umbrella didn't come with one. While this was not a deal-breaker, climbing up on a stepladder and pulling the umbrella up to a desire level may not be prudent for some customers.. Lor. Palm Desert, CA. Wed Jan 02 2019
