I got the sofa bed in beige faux leather with cherry legs. I have not tried sleeping on it, and it is quite solid to sit on, but it is nonetheless exactly what I needed. I wanted to convert my son's old room into a den/guestroom that could accommodate him on his infrequent visits home (a regular sofa might have made him feel unwelcome and displaced) or that could accommodate the occasional overnight guest without encouraging them to linger too long. This sofa is the perfect size to create a reading corner amidst a wall of books, while still providing reasonable sleeping accommodations for 1-2 guests. I am very pleased. I looked far and wide before finding anything in a pale beige faux leather (I am vegan and dislike large dark sofas). I'm reviewing this after 4.5 years! The sofa is still in great condition. My parents sleep on it whenever they come over which is quite often and love its durability. I do have an extra soft topper on top of it but you don't feel the bar of the bed at all. I plan to buy another one now for another room. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 just because it's a little on the hard side for cushioning and i prefer more of a soft cushion for watching TV. However, we only use it for the sofa bed part.
