Absolutely perfect! I put this together by myself and it took me almost 3 hours to put together. It was a little tricky deciphering the directions at some points but overall it wasn’t too bad. Adjusting the cabinet doors was far easier than I expected. The soft close cabinet doors is a very nice touch. This piece is very heavy and I expect it to hold up very well over time. I was looking for a mix of a hallway console table and a tv stand with storage and this checked all of the boxes. This 55” mid-century modern fluted sideboard merges accent style with everyday functionality. Featuring a smooth oval silhouette, curved edges, and wood grain finish.

The sideboard is very nice but came with damage from the manufacturer (the shipping box was perfect and the piece was well-protected). I also bought 2 end tables to match this and despite the sideboard being the right colour, the 2 end tables were much darker, therefore don't match at all. If there was no damage and the colours matched, the only negative comment I would have is that it isn't as wide as I had expected so we won't be fitting our placemats in there (even folded)! I gave this 4 stars for instructions / assembly reasons, the instructions are a bit wonky in places and slightly unclear, but mainly I took a star off for the "permanent" warning sticker they put on the upper side of the cabinet, which was very annoying and while I did get it removed fully, the extra time and frustration of removing it really irked me. OTHERWISE, I really like this cabinet. It is very pretty, I am using it as a sofa/console table that serves as a room break and extra storage in a ver small house. This piece is so stunning. I received so many compliments. It was the perfect addition for our space. The packing was great. The packing was perfectly secured and detailed. I was worried about the possibility of it being damaged due to the delivery driver not being gentle with it. My husband and I put it together. The directions at first appears to be self explanatory however, look at the ending of the instructions if you question a step at the beginning. We found ourselves taking pieces apart because the instructions wasn’t that clear. It did take us 2.5 hours to put it together even with a mistake. lol. I’m extremely happy with the final product. This is a beautiful piece of furniture - a statement piece! The drawers and cabinets open by pushing in: they pop out/open. I gave it four stars instead of five for two reasons: 1) The Dimensions listed online were inaccurate. (Perhaps they've been updated by the time you're reading this, as I spoke about it w a Wayfair rep.) True dimensions are closer to: 74.5 inches wide (not 71), 17.5 inches deep (not 19) and 32 inches high (not 31). Though these are minor differences, they can be significant if you're buying it for a specific alcove/limited wall space. 2) After the delivery guys set it up, I noticed the inside of the drawers and cabinets needed to be wiped down (just some schmutz from the install). When I wiped them with a white paper towel, there was black residue on the towel - seemed like the black interior finish needed to be wiped once more or something.
