I am very happy with my chairs. The size and color are just as expected. I did order samples of upholstery, which I highly recommend. By doing so, as seen in the photos, I was able to match very closely with my footstools. The seaming is beautifully done. HOWEVER, the reason for my four stars, is that the seat cushion extends several inches over the edge of the chair as seen in the photo. I’m quite sure this will affect how the seat wears over time.. This small accent chair has a rounded back that slopes into the arms. Tailored welting details the sections of the back. Exposed wood around the back edge continues down the front and the slim legs.

The size, the color and the construction. They are very well made. They were on back order and took several months to get, but they were well worth the money. You may find the photos I have of the sofa to be closer to what the actual color is. Lighting makes a very big difference in the overall look of these furniture pieces. We ordered six Clark chairs for our office reception (in two fabrics: Dillon Williamsburg faux leather & Connelly Wren) and have been very pleased so far with the quality. The chairs are full size but not overpowering. They are comfortable and have a good weight rating (300 pounds). Best of all, the cushions are reversable. I purchased this chair for my office. I already own a Fairfield chair in a different room which is nearly 20 years old and still looks brand new. Sturdy, solid, good looking, traditional chairs. I'm 5'8" about 140 lbs, but my husband is 6'2" and 300 lbs and both of us can use this chair (the Cabot) comfortably. It's a larger chair but doesn't have a huge footprint, so it can go anywhere. I notice when company comes over, people sit in it. I did request a few fabric samples from Fairfield before ordering, and I'm glad I took that extra step to get exactly what I wanted.
