[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Oak Park Brown bedroom set! I am thankful that light woods are trending now and this set is so refreshing after many years of dark cherry. The sleek, simple style is also a major improvement to my bedroom. Ivory bedding looks amazing against the color of the headboard!
The set arrived in multiple sturdy boxes which are very heavy and translates into sturdy furniture once it is assembled. The instructions are well written with diagrams and each part is labeled which saves much time and frustration. Especially on a piece with many parts like the dresser. Top dresser drawers are lined with felt which is a nice touch. The wood veneer has some grain look but a uniform color, unlike older oak furniture. Black hardware is a wonderful contrast to the light wood and is heavy metal, not plastic. I love the included hardware but assume it would be easy to change out if someone wanted a different look. Instructions stipulate that a box springs is required but we elected to use a Bunkie board for our king bed and it works fine.. Kathy F. Austin, TX. 2022-11-04 23:15:08
